The soils

Cantine Amato make a selection of grapes, from different soils of Sicily, in order to obtain a quality product, whose organoleptic properties are typical of that source area and so to give the highest value to the Sicilian terroirs.

Agrigento, Milazzo, Palermo are some of the areas from where, through a careful and sustainable management of vineyards, we obtain the grapes that are carried into the winery, with modern systems, in order to preserve their quality.

For each strain the best adapted area for the production of quality wines, is selected, according with its climatic and pedologic features.

Our aim for the next future will, also, be to value and emphasize the great variety of the Sicilian soils, through new wines obtained with grapes of the same strain but coming from different viticultural areas.
